Kings Birthday Long weekend this week so J had the day off school. We went on a trip to the Salvos Store but didn’t find much of interest to us.

On Thursday J and I went to the gym for the first time in weeks since I hurt my shoulder — and boy did I feel it! I could hardly sit or stand for 3 days. Was great entertainment for everyone around me!

On Saturday J and I went to a book sale, always a danger for two book dragons. We managed to find a bag of books with some wildcard picks thrown in to fill the bag.

On the way home from dropping J at work I noticed a garage sale, so picked up the boys to go check it out. Hubby loves to look for bargains at a garage sale!

I also started planning a bird box for the two outside green cheek conures, as they have eaten the back wall away from their current box. I’m putting my high school technical drawing skills to use, though I am very rusty. On paper it looks like it will come together — now for the fun of turning a drawing into an actual item!
