Week in Review – 13–19 April 2026

Well… I didn’t get the sewing done this week, but I have a good reason.

I got completely distracted planning a moon garden. For those who don’t know, a moon garden is designed with white flowers and pale foliage so it almost glows under moonlight. It started as a small idea and somehow turned into full garden planning mode.

I also continued playing Crimson Desert. At this rate I might still be playing it next year. The world is enormous and there always seems to be another quest waiting around the corner.

This week I also refined my cleaning schedule. I’ve now used it for a full week and the theory seems solid. The real test will be whether I can keep the routine going.

I bought myself a new drink bottle (because apparently you can never have too many). This one holds 1900ml, so it should help me stay accountable for drinking more water each day. Carrying it around almost feels like a mini arm workout. If you’re interested in getting one, this is the one I bought:

J and I also took Nala for a walk around the neighbourhood. While we were out we spotted some kangaroos in the woody area near home, which was a nice surprise.

Kangaroos enjoying the cooler weather.
