Notion, I love you and hate you at the same time. I continued working on my Life Dashboard this week, and progress is slow when you’ve never used Notion before.
J asked me to make her a reading challenge she had come across. I ended up creating 32 prompts and putting them in a jar. She pulled five prompts and set them aside as her next five reads, then will repeat the process after that. I’m guessing eventually I’ll need to add more prompts, so I’ll probably start keeping a list for future additions.
I haven’t sewn since high school, which was about 30 years ago (how to feel old in four words), but I bought some fabric to make a small project as a refresher.
I’m continuing with my book, To Bleed a Crystal Bloom. I recently read that it’s a Rapunzel retelling, which I somehow hadn’t realised when I started it.
I also started playing Minecraft with my sister and J, which is much more fun than playing solo. For the times when I want to play something without thinking too much, I started Tiny Bookshop and have also continued with Crimson Desert.
The main thing I did this week was continue rearranging the craft room, finding places for all my “maybe I could use this one day” craft items.
The other thing I did this week, though I won’t fully know if it worked until the end of next week, was create a schedule for myself so I don’t sit down to read, doomscroll, or craft and suddenly fall down the rabbit hole of time disappearing.
My current plan is simple: cleaning first, and everything else becomes the reward for being productive.
