Day 5 – The Search for Iron
Dear Diary
Today I had a decision to make. Do I build a boat, or go looking for that iron the villagers use?
I decided iron was more important for now, as stone tools can only get me so far.
I went digging and rock breaking and managed to find seven iron ore. This should be enough for a better sword and pickaxe.

Day 6 – Boom Booms
Dear Diary
I found some lapis lazuli today (iron pickaxe for the win) and met my first boom boom, or creeper, I think the villagers called them.
I REALLY do not like them.
One blew up right in front of me. I managed to just miss being in the blast radius.
Tomorrow is boat-building time. I see rocks, land, and ruins in the distance.

Day 7 – Maiden Voyage
Dear Diary
I can’t believe that it has been a week since I washed ashore. I have done so much and learned even more.
I now have a boat. YAY!
I couldn’t sleep because I was excited about my journey, so I built the boat early enough for its maiden voyage.
First, I travelled to the stone-looking island, but unless I dig deep, the only thing I could find on the surface was some coal.
I then travelled to the ruin I could see from my house. Up close, it doesn’t look like a ruin, just something missing pieces. I wonder what will happen if I rebuild it.
I was surprised to see part of my ship near the ruin. There was nothing left onboard though. I wonder if the boat broke this structure when we crashed. If that’s the case, I suppose I’m somewhat obligated to repair it.
While investigating my boat, I came across a cave that I carefully explored. Inside, I found four diamonds, some more iron, and rocks called redstone.

Day 8 – Diamonds and Dragons
Dear Diary
It took me all night, but I finally escaped the cave.
I’m tired and hungry, so I will head home to look through my finds, work out what some of this strange material does, and get some food and sleep.
I will also need to decide whether to move to this new island, where there seem to be more supplies, or stay close to the villagers.
I am concerned, though. I saw some cave paintings that seemed to mention a dragon.
I need to find out more about this dragon. Is it still around, or are we safe aside from the night monsters and those horrible boom boom creepers?
