Day 1 – Washed Ashore
Dear Diary
I washed up on an island, and when I regained consciousness, I found myself near a village.
I don’t understand what they are trying to say, but they seem to be traders.
I can see land in the distance. I only have the clothes on my back, and I don’t particularly want to swim, so I will need to build a boat.
I’d better stop writing and think of some shelter.

Day 2 – Shelter & Tools
Dear Diary
I survived the night. One of the villagers offered me the floor for the night in his house. The villagers were kind enough to give me some supplies of bread, iron, seedlings and saplings to get started on my journey.
I find that the days are quite short here, wherever here is, and the nights are filled with dangerous creatures. I couldn’t sleep from fear of them getting into the house, so I spent the night staring out the window.
I went exploring today, even though I was very tired, and I managed to make a pickaxe out of wood and mined some cobblestone and coal.
With this cobblestone, I made myself some stone tools: sword, axe, pickaxe, shovel, scythe. I also made a workstation and a furnace and managed to get enough wool to make a bed.
With my newfound tools, I made myself a little house to keep me safe from the dangers outside.
I also planted my saplings and made a little tree farm.

Day 3 – Finished House
Dear Diary
Probably due to exhaustion, but I managed to get some sleep last night.
Today I worked on my house and managed to complete it. It isn’t much, but at least I’m safe at night.
Now I need to work on my garden, as the bread I got from the villagers won’t last forever.

Day 4 – Garden
Dear Diary
I spent the day building my garden. I planted wheat, carrot and potatoes. I also fenced it off to keep it safe from the wild animals, as a pig came to visit while I was planting carrots.
I’m exhausted from all the gardening, so I will have an early night, but tomorrow I might try and build a boat so I can visit this ruin I can see from my house, it is well lit at night, so curious to see what it is.
